- Lot Description
Manner of James Mont (Turkish, b.1904). Set of 4 mid century modern rattan armchairs, each with horseshoe back and central woven curved splat over a woven seat raised on cluster legs united by a box stretcher base. Approximate height 35", width 26.5" (arm to arm), seat depth 18", seat height 17".
Condition
All chairs structurally sound. Areas of surface wear & surface stains, commensurate with age & usage. Slight dullness to finish in scattered areas. Rush seat & splat in good condition. Wrapped cording is tight with no fraying. One chair with writing to underside--mostly illegible. Another chair with two screws realigned to underside of seat.
