English, 19th century. A group of four English Imari platters of graduated size in pattern "China Boquet" with cobalt Orientalist urns bearing orange chrysanthemums and peonies and highlighted with gilt accents. Each piece with handwritten mark to underside "100R" or "100X". Largest platter approximately 15.875" x 12.75". Smallest platter approximately 10.25" x 8.375". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Ann Jacob of Highlands, North Carolina.
Each platter with losses to gilt accents and painted highlights. Wear to bottom of each platter with some discoloration. All with light scattered crazing to glaze. Each platter with a few minor flakes and chips to rim (typically 2-4), all rounded down and not particularly noticeable. Under black light examination, no signs of fractures. No further signs of damage, loss or repair.
