- Lot Description
Leonardo Nierman (Mexican, b. 1932- ), Group of three "Untitled" works from "Games of Wind" series, etching in color on wove paper, pencil signed lower right margin. Each work with multicolored abstract composition with radiating and intersecting dynamic lines and forms recalling organic movement like the wind. Each framed approximately 25.75" x 33". Sight size approximately 16' x 6".
Condition
Each examined out of the frame. Each with toning to sheet and slight mat burn, four deckled edges, slight rippling due to handling, and attached to back mat board at top with two pieces of hinging tape. One sheet with one small spot of foxing to verso of sheet, not visible on front. One sheet with one small spot of foxing to verso, not visible on front, and one small spot of foxing to front lower left of center outside of plate. Each frame with wear commensurate with age, one with crack and gilt loss at upper right corner.
