- Lot Description
Continental, likely Venetian, 20th century. Matched set of twelve cranberry and mica etched glass wine hocks or wine glasses, all decorated with etched European courting scenes with a man, woman and dog in a landscape setting with trees, gazebo and balustrade, the reeded stem with mica inclusions tapering to a circular foot etched with scrolling foliage. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 7.8". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Condition
Overall very good condition. There are small included bubbles under the surface. Slight rippling to the bowls and a couple of glasses with straw marks on the underside base (manufacturing). No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
