Sessions Clock Company (American, first half of 20th century). Bronze rectangular cased table clock with gilt accented florals in upper corners and swag surrounding young female nude figure applied at center below white circular porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals with secondary dial and marked "8 DAY", lower edge marked "MANUFACTURERED BY THE SESSIONS CLOCK CO. FORESTVILLE, CONN., U.S.A." upper portion of clock case with oval opal gemstone accent. Bacchanalian grotesque masks applied to sides. Overall raised on four bun feet. Verso of clock marked "MADE IN GERMANY" on movement. Approximate height 6.5", width 4.5", depth 2.4".
In working condition, however, would highly benefit from servicing. Possibly replaced movement. Missing one screw. Nonfunctioning second hand.
