Helga Bonnefil (American (California), 20th century). "Seated Female Nude" - 1996, patinated bronze, signed and dated to base. A naturalistic sculpture depicting a female Botticeli-esque nude seated with legs crossed and leaning forward, her arms, legs, and neck truncated leaving cleft ends below shoulder, above knee, and below head, the sculpture with allover mottled verdigris finish and to an integral rounded base. Overall approximately 10.75" tall, 6.75" wide, 8.25" deep.
Minor surface scratches from light handling including two visible scratches on back right buttock. Light wear to patina, particularly on edges. Patina even and not distracting. One small ding on back left arm--possibly original to work. No other signs of damage or repair.
