Harrach (Bohemian, founded 1712), circa 1900. Scarce bottle form custard glass vase with cupped mouth and stick neck over a bulbous body, the whole decorated in colorful Victorian petit-point or pointillist floral design commonly referred to as "Persian" enamel. Glass reacts strongly to black light. Marked to the underside on the polished pontil with the propeller or feather plume mark and shape 1159, V 487. Approximate height 12". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Minor gilt enamel loss particularly on mouth rim. Very clean and bright enamel work. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
