- Lot Description
Sam Philipe (American, 20th century-contemporary), "Lion and Lamb", sterling 925 silver wash figural sculpture, marked on back with illegible mark and "925". Figural group depicting a lion lovingly embracing a small wooly lamb, each figure laying on a black rock base at rest. Religious sculpture refers to the passage from Isaiah 11:6. Approximate height 3.75", width 8.125", depth 5.75".
Condition
Excellent condition overall. No damage to sterling silver wash.
