- Lot Description
Arnold "Arnie" Sachs (American, 1928-2006), "American Flag and Twin Towers"-2002, color photographic print, signed and dated lower left corner "2002-Arnie Sachs", label on verso indicates that the print's edition is "01/200". Work depicting a stylized view of one of the Twin Towers in New York from the base of the structure with wavering American flag on pole against metallic green sky. Verso with dedicatory inscription in black pen " Thank you for you support- Love Arnie Sachs 07/04/02". Framed approximately 17.5" x 14.25". Sight size approximately 9.25" x 7.3". Note: Arnold "Arnie" Sachs was a political photographer who worked for numerous news publications. He was a member of the White House News Photographers' Association and won their lifetime achievement award for still photography in 2001.
