Russian, early 20th century, circa 1904. Russian metal mounted cut glass casket, jewelry or trinket box, rectangular in form the aquamarine blue glass box decorated with bands of raised diamond point and clear panels. Marked in Cyrillic on the base 'OT' 'MF' '10 LET' 1904' for the Maltsev Glass Works, the metal clasp marked in Latin 'J.A.-G'. Approximate height 4", width 4.8", depth 3.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall good condition. Box opens and shuts smoothly. Oxidation to the metal banding. Interior of box has a small crack - not through to the exterior. Straw mark to the interior lid. Small flea bites to the very rim of back lid along the metal banding. No key present.
