J. Opermann for Royal Copenhagen (Danish, founded 1775- ), circa 1894-1900. Art Nouveau porcelain table vase with blue transitioning to sage green to light French blue on tapering neck above white calla lily flowers with green leaves terminating on a circular foot. Marked on bottom with “J. Oppermann” above “X” with three undulating stacked waves beside “6” above “4771” under glaze, also with green mark with crown above “DANMARK” above glaze (for 1894-1900 period), additional incised marks under glaze reading “96” and “EN”. Overall approximate height 11.3”, diameter of foot 5.6”.
Overall good condition, with scattered underglaze imperfections. Concentrated glazing imperfection noted at rim exterior. Underglaze raised imperfection of brown hue to base. Interior with dirt and grime, would benefit from light professional cleaning. Foot with wear commensurate with shelf use. Under black light examination, no apparent repairs, fractures or losses detected.
