American, likely New York, mid-19th century. A Rococo Revival console table comprising a portoro marble turtle top over rosewood frame decorated with high relief carved rosettes at serpentine skirt and sides, carved cabochons at knees in c-scroll cartouches over cabriole legs joined by curved molded stretchers with intricately carved central rondel with urn turned base and finial, terminating in scroll feet on casters. Approximate height 29.75", width 40.5", depth 30".
Structurally sound. Marble top shows surface scratches. Very minor chips to carved elements. Not distracting or obvious. Casters appear to be original.
