- Lot Description
Roman Chatov (American (Georgia), 1900-1987). "Daisy", oil on canvas, signed lower right. Modernist nude portrait painting depicting a young dark haired woman seated on a blue upholstered chair twisting to left with right arm perched on left thigh holding a white flower blossom in her upturned hand, the background in abstracted fields of colors in blue, purple, and ochre. Framed approximately 41.5" x 29.5". Unframed approximately 36" x 24".
Condition
Overall in excellent condition. Painting has not been relined. Under black light examination, no apparent in painting. No apparent abrasions, tears, or losses.
