Designed by Hans Hopfer (German, 1931-2009) for Roche Bobois (French, founded 1950), circa 2000. A fine cream colored leather sectional sofa in two pieces having a corner composition and a chaise end, both with down filled cushions and resting on chrome colored and black block legs. The underside of the seat cushions marked for Roche Babois. Approximate width of long piece 93.25", depth 38", seat depth 27.5", seat height 14.5". Approximate width of chaise end 80", depth 40", seat depth 27.5", seat height 14.5". Overall length 133.25".
Structurally sound. Overall good condition. Right side of sofa which houses the chaise shows what appears to be scattered areas of damage from cat claws particularly on right side front end of backrest (image #10) and directly in front on seat. The section on rest measures approximately 9 x 13 inches, the seat 12 x 24 inches. Sofa shows minimal discoloration but would benefit from cleaning.
