- Lot Description
Paul McCobb (American, 1917-1969) for St. John Origami Chair, circa 1950s. A light blue Origami side chair, the fiberglass seat molded at angles reminiscent of Japanese origami folded paper resting on black rod iron legs. Approximate height 32", width 21", depth 21", seat to floor 16.75".
Condition
Structurally sound. Small chip to frame at top right back corner (see image #6). Small chip to frame left corner front of seat. Minor surface scratches, staining and scuffs to the fiberglass. Black rod legs have scratches (see image #9), commensurate with age and usage.
