French, 20th century. Rene Lalique "Charmes" molded and frosted art glass plafonnier with all over repeating leaf tip motif throughout molded dome form surrounding two electrified bypass light sockets. Stamped on edge of hanging chandelier light fixture with "R.LALIQUE". This pattern was first introduced 1924 (Marcilhac 2458). Lighting fixture with cream colored rope supports leading to frosted and molded art glass canopy also presumably by Lalique. Diameter of bowl form fixture 13.5'.
Overall very good condition. Canopy (or corona) has a couple flecks of white paint splatter. We did not attempt to the clean it.
