- Lot Description
Seymour Meyer (American (New York), 1914-2009). "Quartet", gilt bronze, edition 7/8, impressed signature to base of form. Very abstracted gilt bronze figural sculpture depicting two figures side by side with reticulations implying arms and legs, the two forms joined at the shoulder, the sculpture to a rectangular ebonized wooden plinth. Plaque to front of plinth with title and artist's name. Overall approximately 17.25" tall x 12" wide x 6.25" deep.
Condition
Overall good condition. Minor areas of oxidation & corrosion, however, not distracting. Scattered slight speckling, likely from cleaning agent.
