Peter Max (German/ American, b.1937). "Angel" - 2008, acrylic on canvas, signed lower right. Vibrantly colored abstract painting depicting an angel at knee length with broad wings to either side of body and floating halo over head. Verso of canvas with stamp "PETER MAX" under handwritten "117073". Verso of frame with certificate of authenticity from Fine Art Wholesalers. Framed approximately 35.25" x 31.25". Unframed approximately 20" x 16".
Condition
Excellent condition overall. Under black light examination, no signs of in-painting or retouches. No tears, rips, or holes. No other damage, loss or repair.
