- Lot Description
Peter Hurd (American (New Mexico & Pennsylvania),1904-1984), "Running Before the Storm", color serigraph, pencil signed lower right margin, limited edition numbered in pencil lower left margin "80/250". Figural Western color silkscreen print on paper depicting two male cowboys in traditional dress riding on brown horses galloping across desert landscape under expressive sky. Framed approximately 33.5" x 46.5". Image size approximately 26" x 38.75".
Condition
Sheet connected to mat board with hinging tape at top. Work does not appear to have been cut down. Light signs of mat burn. Scattered visible foxing to margins, particularly on bottom and right side. Minor rippling to sheet, not particularly noticeable or compromising.
