Peter Hayes (British, b. 1946- ), circa 2000. Raku ceramic sculpture of tapered form with pierced circular recesses with notch at top center, body in black, dark brown to brick red with crevices and cracks creating organic texture and quality. Modern sculptural pottery work signed and dated on bottom "Peter Hayes 2000". Approximate height 5.25", width 4.75", depth 3.9". Provenance: The Estate of Mr. Joseph Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia.

Very good condition overall. No damage or restorations noted.
