- Lot Description
Paul Victor Jules Signac (France, 1863 - 1935). "Harbor Scene", watercolor and gouache on artist's board, signed lower left "P. Signac, St. Tropez, 1930". Impressionist style painting depicts a sailboat at harbor in a St. Tropez marina, with buildings and tall trees stretching out to the left along the horizon line. Framed 14.75" x 18.5", unframed 9 7/8" x 13 3/8".
Condition
Minor even toning to artist's board. Scattered foxing visible most in upper left corner and on left edge of work. Work would likely benefit from professional cleaning. Wear to edges and corners of artist's board from rubbing on frame. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
