- Lot Description
Likely, Italian, 20th century. A tall table lamp base with a brass bulb light socket with twist switch over a turned footed brass base above the verdigris patinated bronze lamp base comprising a circular top surmounting four tall columns each decorated with allover rope turnings, the anterior two columns headed by two bronze eagles over brass plinths surmounting the columns both terminating in round bronze joints and eagle claw feet on plinth bases, the posterior two columns resting on plinth bases, overall surmounting a low plinth base over four ball feet. Approximate height (including bulb socket) 30.5", width (of plinth base) 6", depth (of plinth base) 6".
