- Lot Description
Continental, late 20th century. A French baroque style mahogany veneer breakfront cabinet with polychromed gilt detailing, having a broken pediment and a dentil molded cornice mounted with floral swags, over three glass inset cabinet doors, the lower portion with Greek key detailing, over three lower cabinets,, on a plinth base carved with an egg and dart border. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 107", width 99.5", depth 25.25".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Nicks, scratches, dings, abrasions, and some losses throughout. Missing interior shelves to upper portion. Some seam separation and cracking. Approximately 750-1000 lbs. Comes apart into three pieces - top crest, upper shelves, and lower shelves.
