Italian, 18th century. A fine and matched pair of Rococo polychrome decorated corner cabinets on stands, both with molded cornice over a quarter round case with single paneled door hand painted with exterior chinoiserie scenes depicting figures on terraces surround by foliage, rockwork, a peacock and dog with architectural archways in the background; the interior fitted with three shelves; the associated and conforming table with single frieze drawer and scroll carved skirt raised on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled toes. One cabinet with sticker 'Benecke & Heywood, Forwarding Agents, 810, Agents for Henry Johnson & Sons, Pitt & Scott, Woodbridge & Co, Geo. W. Wheatley & Co. American Express Co, Innocente Magill, San Remo (Italie). Approximate height 72.25", width 25", depth 18.25".
