Pair of miniature or diminutive clocks of similar form, each with white enamel and silver (one sterling, the other 900) vertically striped rectangular case with arched toile style black on cream Classical landscape scene at top (one with white banding, the other with a black and cream serpentine banding). Each with round white clock face or dial with black Arabic numerals and raised on four ball feet. One clock marked at lower back edge "STERLING", the other with "900" next to additional marks, presumably for the maker and country of origin above "27". Backs slightly vary. Each of slightly different size, clock with serpentine banding: approximate height 2.8", width 3.25", depth 1"; other clock: approximate height 2.9", width 3.125" , depth 0.9".
Hand set square pinion is broken. One sets but does not run. Both clocks with small scratches on exterior of case. One with small ding to back top edge of case, hairlines and small losses to sides of white enamel on case. Other clock with two minor losses to enamel. Both would benefit from cleaning.
