Rene Lalique (French, 1860-1945), early 20th century. A matched pair of Rene Lalique cherubic candlesticks or candle holders, both frosted glass and circular in form, decorated to the exterior with four dancing cherubs holding hands and encircled with floral swags. Marked to the underside in faint acid etch script 'R. Lalique' and 'FRANCE' in capital letters along with the numbers '5225'. Approximate height 3.14", diameter of base 2.4".
Very good condition. No chips, cracks or damage noted on either candlestick.
