- Lot Description
French, 19th century. Pair of Old Paris parcel gilt accented porcelain handled urns with flared rim above cylindrical neck flanked by scrolled arms with floral ornament, rounded body hand painted with chinoiserie scenes with Asian figures in courtly dress in exotic formal gardens, view of architecture and palm trees at back, above circular foot on an integral square base. Each unmarked. Approximate height 11".
Condition
Overall good condition. One urn with small chip to rim of mouth. Both urns with scattered loss and wear to gilt enamel particularly noted to mouth rim, socle and plinth Very minor loss to painted scenes; not distracting.
