Manner of Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), possibly Graf Harrach (Bohemian, founded 1712), A matched pair of art glass pillow vases with undersea motif, each flattened vase body with hand painted branch coral and seaweed to either side in accent to pairs of applied glass fish, the whole mounted on four feet loosely modeled as sea creatures with tails sweeping right along body of vase. Unmarked. Approximate height 6", width 5.5", diameter 3.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Both vases in good condition. There are some included bubbles (under surface). One amberina colored fish has a chip to tail. One amber fish on the other side of same vase with small chip to tail. The other fish with amber fish on both sides with slight chip to tail. All chips observed with loop and not distracting. The very bottom of applied feet have small flea bites as would be expected from contact with surface and age.
