- Lot Description
A contemporary matched pair of monumental or oversized black cast iron garden urns or planters on stands, both of campana form and having a circular rolled rim decorated with egg and dart over a gadrooned tapering body on a plinth base, raised on a plinth base having cavetto molded panels. Approximate overall height 37.4". Approximate height of urn 20", diameter of mouth 37". Approximate height of base 17.4", width 16", depth 16".
Condition
Weathered and rusted patina throughout as items were outside as intended. Some large scratches to interior of each basin. One urn with white to grey finish on exterior top corner of base. All elements intact and stable. No significant dings, dents, repairs or damage.
