Probably American, circa 1960s. Matched pair of Modernist articulating chrome floor lamps having a white enamel ball shade supported on an adjustable chrome colored arm and shaft united to the white enamel painted rod and weighted circular base. Apparently unmarked. Underwriter's sticker to interior of ball globe for 'Portable Lamp'. Approximate height 63" (adjustable), diameter of base 10".
Both lamps are in working condition. Lamps articulate half way up shaft. One lamp is bent and doesn't screw all the way into the base (see image #1). There is loss of paint with some rusting to the bases.
