Baker Furniture Company (American, founded 1903), circa 1950s. A matched pair of French Empire style walnut and bronze mounted gueridons, occasional or side tables, designed by Michael Taylor, each having a circular top resting on three gilt bronze mounted caryatids supports over a tripartite concave platform and terminating on three block feet. Baker metal tag mounted to underside. Approximate height 27.75", diameter of top 23.8".
Each in good condition with minor surface scratches and wear from light use. One table with minor wood loss on edge of leg, the other with a small scratch on leg. Minor wear and retouches to finish on edges visible under black light examination. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
