French, 20th century. Matched pair of Louis XV style stained wood and damask upholstered bergeres with curved back and scrolled arms with loose seat cushion over a serpentine shaped apron raised on cabriole legs. Height 37", width 27" (arm to arm), seat depth 21.75", seat height 18". Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. & Mrs. H.C. Carson of Atlanta, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Both chairs are structurally sound. No damage or repairs noted. Fabric is in very good condition, tight to frame with no stains, rips or odors.
