- Lot Description
Chinese, Qianlong Period mark (1736-1795). likely 20th century. A pair of Lang Yao Hong or Oxblood glazed baluster form pottery vases with wide flaring rim over incurvate neck and tall cylindrical body, the thick layer of glaze thinning to white along rim and with large drips frozen along foot just above the vase base. Marked to underside in cobalt blue underglaze with four character Chien Lung imperial reign mark. Each approximate height 22.475", diameter 9.125".
