- Lot Description
Ireland, 19th century. Matched pair of cut crystal sweetmeat, bonbon or candy jars, both in pedestal form with hexagonal finials and paneled domed covers resting on the compote bowl with elongated panels and cut undulating rim, raised on faceted stem and scalloped petal-form shaped foot with cut starburst base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 12", diameter of base 3.87".
