Attributed to Pierce of Wexford Foundry (Irish, 1839 - 2002), circa 1880. A matched pair of green painted cast iron garden benches with allover leaf and berry designs, having a central arched panel over a five bar seat raised up on four supports terminating in hoof feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 38.37", width 47.87" (arm to arm), depth 23.12" (front to back foot).
Both benches are structurally sound. Both show chipping, paint loss and very minor rusting. Probably originally white.
