20th century. A pair of gilt brass and teal toned marbleized lamps of vasiform with round brass foot having reeded band below beaded band on incurvate molding, the teal blue body with bulbous base and narrow neck with applied gilt metal scrolling handles to either side decorated with leaves and berries and tied ribbon bow form at bottom, the body surmounted by beaded and tapering brass cap below narrow turned brass neck and socket, the finial of cylindrical form with rope motif decoration. Unmarked. Approximately 27.25" tall to finial, 8.25" wide across handles.
Both lamps examined without taking off mounts. Light oxidation to gilt metal mounts. One lamp with small white dot on exterior of porcelain body--likely glazing imperfection in production. Each lamp with slightly uneven mounts on side of porcelain body (one situated closer to the body of the vase than the other side). One vase with visible dent on circular base. No other signs of damage, loss or repairs. No visible signs of chips, cracks or losses on vases while in mounts.
