- Lot Description
French, Early 19th Century. Pair of French Louis XVI style giltwood carved fauteuils, both with rectangular padded back, seat and arms raised on turned, tapered and fluted legs headed with patera blocks, the whole frame carved with guilloche. Height 38", width 23"(arm to arm), seat depth 19", seat height 16".
Condition
Structurally sound. Overall very good condition. Chips, nicks and imperfections to the gilt commensurate with age.
