Chinese, Late 19th/Early 20th century, possibly earlier. Pair of two matching porcelain table vases, each with four recessed shaped cartouches or panels hand painted with courtly figures in famille verte palette on white ground surrounded by cornflower or powder blue with gilt leaved, floral, scrolls, butterflies and other decorative ornament. Unmarked. Each vase raised on a carved wood stand. Approximate vase height 13.25", diameter of top 5.75", diameter of bottom 5.2".
Hairline fracture to the neck of one vase - tight. The other vase has had a repair to the neck and rim. Some wear to finish and dirt residue.
