Chinese, 20th century. Pair of Chinese blue & white covered vases or jars, both with foo dog finial domed covers, the neck decorated with meander scroll over the baluster form body with molded masks to each shoulder and decorated with dense Ruyi and leafs with petal formed band along the foot. Apparently unmarked. Height 15.5", with 8.5".
One vase with scattered chips to mouth with discoloration and chips to neck of lid (see image #3). Same vase with flake to lid on meander scroll. The other vase with a prior repair to lid, glazing imperfections ad areas of roughness at the neck of lid. Small chip to one of the masks.
