Manner of Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), late 19th century. Pair of Bohemian cased art glass mantel vases of rectangular form with canted corners, each with cranberry glass over milk glass, exteriors with gilt borders with white enamel dotted or beaded accents, gilt lattice work on canted corners, side panels with gilt scrolled foliate fretwork motif, front and back with hand painted enamels with diminutive winged nude cherub or putto amid flowers and insects. Each vase unmarked and raised on gilt glass bun feet. Approximate height 9", width 4.25", depth 3". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Minor wear to gilt enamel on mouth rims and ball feet. There is internal staining to the interior on both vases. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
