Chinese, 20th century. A pair of rose medallion porcelain vases converted into table lamps, the vases of baluster form with traditional figural cartouches surrounded by floral medallions, butterflies, and prunus fruit, with applied foo dog handles to neck and dragons to shoulder, the vases raised on carved wood round plinths and with brass harp surmounted by carved celadon jade finials. Approximately 30" tall to finial, 7" diameter.
Both lamps are in overall good condition. There is minor paint loss at the rim of both lamps and minimal glazing imperfections. One lamp has minor fleabite to rim of mouth with overpainting. Same vase has a chip to one of the dragons (on shoulder) and two small flakes on figural scene, neither distracting. All wear is commensurate with age.
