French, 19th century. A matched pair of Paris porcelain hand painted jardinieres, each comprising of a pot with draining hole and a draining dish, the bright yellow body decorated on tondo with a band of hand painted roses and purple flowers surrounded by leaves, with gilt highlighted white striated bands to foot and near rim, the upper band with fixed gilt ring handles to either side, the draining dish in yellow with gilt bands at top and bottom. Marked to interior of each drain dish "Ed Honore a Paris", and incised "R" to underside of each pot. Overall approximately 8.75" tall, 7.5" diameter at opening.
Overall very good condition. There is scattered gilt loss on both jardinieres particularly on the gilt highlighted white striated bands.
