Italian (Venetian), 19th century. A carved polychrome wood and gesso wall mirror with ornate frame of yellow green and red patterning surrounding rectangular looking glass, surmounted by a large openwork pediment with c-scrolled acanthus, with scrolls trailing flowers including roses and daisies, with spiraled acanthus surrounding fleurette at center. Overall approximately 52.25" x 32.25". Looking glass approximately 30.5" x 22.5".
Glass apparently later. Scattered losses to gilt and polychrome surfaces, with some bubbling and lifting commensurate with age. Minor separating in corners and at base of crest, not distracting and apparently stable.
