- Lot Description
20th century. Old Paris style hand painted and footed porcelain cachepot with tapered cylindrical jardiniere form top with exterior in brightly colored flowers on white ground above partial gilt, black and white serpentine and leaf motif legs under grotesque masks. Unmarked. Approximate height 9.7", diameter of top 8".
Condition
Light wear to gilt elements throughout from handling. Light wear to bottom commensurate with age and shelf use. A few scattered glazing imperfections (one on rim). One leaf accent on foot with missing chipped tip. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
