New England Glass Works (American, 1818-1878), circa 1886-1888. New England glass peachblow or wild rose pitcher or tankard in glossy finish with rose pink neck shading to almost white bulbous body and round foot. Applied with a clear handle. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 11.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall good condition. Minor imperfection/roughness on the rim of mouth. Flaw in handle at the base where applied. Pitcher fluoresces brightly under ultraviolet light. Wear to base commensurate with age and contact with surface.
