Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), late 19th century. A translucent cranberry glass vase having an oval shaped mouth with traces of gilt enamel over a body decorated allover with enameled and gilt trailing colorful oak leaves and insects, with applied acorns and silvered gilt clusters of leafy nuts or berries, centered to one side with colorful applied perching bird. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 7.25", width 6", base diameter 2.8".
Overall good condition. Some gilt enamel loss around the mouth. Minor losses to applied raised decoration. Old residue reactive under blacklight to the applied raised decoration. One leaf with old repair. Underside of foot with wear and scratches as would be expected from contact with surface and age.
