Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), circa early 20th century. A cranberry art glass urn of typical form with applied medallion to front bearing hand painted portrait of a young brunette beauty in blue dress with dark curly hair, the vase body decorated allover with gilt leafy vines, the found lid with teardrop finial. Unmarked. Approximate height 15.25", diameter 6.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Minor wear to the gilt enamel primarily on the rim of lid and the mouth rim of the urn. There is loss on the tip of the finial on lid. Appears to have been polished down and covered in gilt enamel (see image 4).
