Moser (Bohemian, founded 1857), circa 1880. A Bohemian amber glass enameled lidded jar, the lid having a pointed gilt finial and decorated with raised white and red enameled motif and applied prunts, the cylindrical body similarly decorated and centered on the front with a painted coat of arms over a band of raised prunts, raised on a spreading ring base and circular foot with white beaded enamel. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 16.5", base diameter 5.12".
Overall good condition. Finial appears to have had a sliver chip, ground down. Minor gilt enamel loss to rim of mouth. There are minute flea bites to interior of lid commensurate with contact and age.
