Irish, early 20th century. Monumental cut crystal nine light chandelier attributed to Waterford with umbrella form corona over a blown and star cut glass globe and panel cut vasiform standard joined to a scalloped and diamond point cut bowl issuing two tiers of scrolling candle arms, the upper tier with three lights alternating with three spear form prisms, the lower tier with six scrolled arms terminating in a crystal candle cups with shaped bobeches, the whole hung with large & small faceted pear shaped drops, faceted beads and cascades of beaded swags, all above an umbrella form base centered with large faceted ball drop. Approximate height 45”, width 35”. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
Excellent condition with no damage or repairs noted. Would benefit from cleaning.
