• Lot Description
  Karpen Furniture Co (American (Chicago/New York), 1880-1952), circa 1950s. A Modernist oak cabinet in two pieces, the top with two drawers (simulated as four), the bottom with a pair of doors enclosing an interior fitted with a shelf. Drawers and doors are paneled and inset with pale green stone or marble. Label to top cabinet interior drawer metal plaque for Karpen Furniture. Backside of top cabinet stamped "7027D". Back of bottom cabinet with metal Karpen Furniture plaque and stamped "7027A". Overall approximate height 46.5", width 48", depth 18.5". Approximate height of top cabinet 15". Approximate height of bottom cabinet 31.5".
